Our method

We understand that it can be difficult to reach out and ask for help, but will ensure that you feel comfortable and provide you with choices and information about your treatment at each step of the way.

We provide evidence based therapies to assist clients in achieving maximum benefits from sessions. This means that the treatment offered for a specific mental health concern has been validated by clinical research to be effective for that condition.

We draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative and Mindfulness approaches.

Making an appointment

Please use the contact form or phone (07) 3358 2982 to make an appointment or for any further enquires. Our standard sessions are between 50 - 60 minutes. Referrals can be made by either a GP or Psychiatrist, or you can self-refer.

Please note that we do not provide medico-legal reports.

Fees & Medicare Rebate Information

The current Medicare rebate with a Mental Health Treatment Plan for a Clinical Psychologist is $137.05 per session. A Mental Health Treatment Plan allows up to 10 sessions per calendar year. You can discuss this with your GP.

To be eligible for a Medicare rebate you will require a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your doctor. For information about Mental Health Treatment Plans visit www.healthdirect.gov.au. If you are not claiming a rebate from Medicare, you may be eligible to claim a rebate from your health fund.
